Our venture West with the West's

We headed to the beautiful Oregon coast, with our pals the West's. We stayed in a little beach house in Oceanside Ore. It totally rocked.
Apparently Blogger wants this rad picture of Levi, kickin' trash on the rope swing, to be the highlight of our trip. Check out the rest of our trip as well

Cool in the School

Since starting preschool, Kenna's world has opened up to a whole new dimension of communication. She is trying new words and actually using them. We love her teacher this year and the speech therapist is awesome.
Here is my monster waiting for the bus.

Stitches!

About a week ago we had the fine opportunity of enjoying our first set of stitches. Kenna fell in the tub and split open her head. It took 2 nurses and me to hold her down. She fought until the bitter end. After the doctor was done, she was more than happy to get the heck out of there. So, with sticker and popsicle in hand, she was on her way to showing off the battle wound.

The most adorable, vile creatures.

Never open the door to the trailer in the middle of the night, if you hear your garbage rustling. Especially if you have a stupid dog! Oh yes, Eddie got skunked. 4am, we are dazed and confused, trying to see through the blinding stink, and all I had was dishsoap and ketchup. I did the best I could to dull the smell, but lets just say it was a sleepless night. We packed up the next day and had to "gut" the trailer. I did laundry for 3 days straight and I still get whiffs of it now and then. Next time, we will let nature have our garbage.

I am tired from my vacation.

We just got back from a fun-filled yet exhausting trip to California.

We even wore out the beast.

Hmmm. Not sure what this sign is trying to say.

Universal Studios

Go Dodgers. These fans go nuts over Manny.

Yay! Seaworld! Waiting for Shamu

Hiding in a Polar Bear Cave. Yes, I really am that greasy. I need dry heat.

Sesame at Seaworld

Lots of fun at the Beach.
Maybe a little to much fun.

Kenna took a little convincing that sand won't kill you, and it washes off.

Boogie Boarding with dad.

running from waves

The Wrights. Sweet Booties.

My California Girl.

More convincing. Waves are fun.

Kenna and I had our first trip to Knott's Berry Farm.
Here are a few of the wicked rides in Camp Snoopy.

Waiting for the coaster to start.

This thing beats you to death. Kenna lifted off her seat a few times. I was not prepared.

We went on these cars four times. They were the favorite.

The Verdict:
Beach= Good
Seaworld=Love
Dodgers=Win
Universal=Not little kid friendly
Knotts= Old, but fun.
